Dr. Wang began her journey in veterinary medicine at the University Julio de Mesquita Filho in Jaboticabal, Brazil. After graduating in 2000, Dr. Wang started her career at Vetmasters Veterinary Clinic in São Paulo, Brazil where she worked exclusively with cats for 12 years. In 2012, with the opportunity to move to Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Wang stepped into a new role as Clinical Research Coordinator in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC).
After several years in research, her love for clinical care brought her to complete a mentorship under Dr. Vieira at Staples Animal Hospital while she fulfilled her Canadian veterinary certifications. In December 2020, Dr. Wang officially joined the practice and has been a tremendous addition to the team. Dr. Wang is a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian with the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and is a Fear Free Certified Practitioner.
Dr. Wang shares her home with her husband, and you guessed it - her two beloved feline companions, Pipoca and Fuba. She is a world traveller, fluent in English, French and Portuguese! Outside the clinic, she enjoys circus training, particularly straps, and is a self-professed foodie.
After completing his veterinary degree at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland, Dr. DuPlessis returned to his hometown of London, Ontario to begin his career in veterinary medicine.
Since joining the practice in 2021, Dr. DuPlessis quickly became a valued member of the team. He has a passion for surgery and dentistry, and a heart for the large and sometimes misunderstood pups.
Dr. DuPlessis is a Fear Free Certified Practitioner.
Outside of the clinic, you may find him and his fiancé exploring the outdoors and in the colder months playing hockey at the rink with friends. GO KNIGHTS GO! His family would not be complete without their foster cat Lincoln, who has won their hearts even though he can test their patience. And we can't forget, Dr. DuPlessis is one great cook!"
